Our client is an Australian business that is growing in the defence and law enforcement industries. They are developing system integration technologies for the ADF and emerging in the Law enforcement, intelligence and cyber domains.
... They have an opportunity for an experienced Security Officer and/ or Manager to come in and manage DISP compliance to ensure that the company meets all mandated security requirements and effectively manages all the security and site risks.
This is a Full Time Permanent Position based in Melbourne, VIC.
As the Security Officer you will:
- Provide up-to-date advice regarding security threats and incidents to the Chief Security Officer
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to advise on security matters
- Create and maintain all security policies, procedures and guidelines to align with best practices
- Provide direction and guidance to all new employees and contractors in regards to their access and responsibilities.
About you:
- Have completed a DISP Security Officer course (and it is still valid)
- Demonstrated experience in Defence security with firm understanding of the accreditation process and experience with AGSVA
- Sound understanding of the Information Security Manual (ISM), Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
- Knowledge around security risk and threats inclusive physical security, cyber security and insider threats.
The candidate must be an Australian citizen and have a NV1 clearance
