The purpose and the focus of this role is to provide high quality responsive advice to staff on a range of HR-related issues in line with policy and procedural requirements.

... Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR guidance and support to department managers and employees for the duration of the 6-month contract.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary matters.
- Assist in the recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection.
- Contribute to talent management and succession planning efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct HR investigations as necessary and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other HR professionals to ensure a cohesive and efficient HR department.
- Stay up-to-date on HR best practices and relevant legislation.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in HR, preferably in a government or public sector setting.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
